What time do I need to arrive?
The Festival’s in full swing from 10am to 9pm on both days so you may arrive any time after 10am!
Nerf Gun Battles, Bridging the Gap My Sessions & Workshops
If you’ve signed up for any Nerf Gun Battles, Bridging the Gap Gym sessions or workshops, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your respective commencement time.
Can I sign up for activities on that day itself?
Yes! Just approach our friendly staff and volunteers at the activity booths.

What should I bring?
Bring your loved ones and a fun-loving attitude! But also, do remember to bring your Festival Coupons for any purchases or game/workshop registration you’d wish to make.
Will there be people available to help take care of my child/children?
Child-care corners and babysitters will not be provided. After all, The Giving Family Festival is about having fun and spending precious time together with your family and friends!

What is The Giving Family Festival?
The Giving Family Festival is a 2-day charity carnival cum bazaar for family and friends! Try your hand at fun games, experience exhilarating rides, hands-on workshops, and support local talent by shopping from a range of artisan goods and mouth-watering treats!
Proceeds from the Festival will go towards impacting the lives of more than 31,000 individuals and families in need under the care of TOUCH.

Can I pay for every activity I sign up for by cash at The Festival?
Online registration and payment for Family Arena Games, My Gym sessions or workshops are to be made via credit card.
Payment for any workshops, games or merchandise on the day itself at The Giving Family Festival are to be made with Festival Coupons.

Can I bring my pet?
As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed at the event venue.

How will I know if my purchase has been successful?
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration / coupon purchase.
When will I receive my coupons after making the purchase?
You will receive your coupons within two weeks of making your purchase.
What happens if it rains?
The event will go on if it rains, unless the rain is torrential and is considered dangerous during that period. If this is the case, every effort will be made to notify all participants to take shelter immediately. Only when the rain has cleared and it is safe again, will outdoor activities resume.
Activities conducted at the sheltered area will not be affected by weather conditions.
Festival Coupons will not be refunded in the event of rain.

How much are coupons?

Can I get a refund if I can’t come?
Coupons are not refundable once they’ve been purchased.
About Run & Raisin’
Can I sign up for the run on the day of the event?
We strongly encourage sign-ups to be done during the registration period.
Are Online Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes, donations to TOUCH Community Services Limited are eligible for a 250% tax deduction for the year. To enjoy the tax deduction benefit, donors have to submit their donations to TOUCH by 31 December in order for it to be included in the tax assessment. Acknowledgement for tax deductible receipt is automatically given for donations $50 and above and only upon request for donations below $50. I agree that by filling up the form, TOUCH can use my personal information for donation-related and communication purposes
What are the different run categories?
There are three run categories:
- 10km Competitive Run
- 5km Fun Run
- 1.2km Family Run
What time does each run category start?
7.30am – 10km Competitive Run
8.30am – 5km Fun Run
9.00am – 1.2km Family Run
What time and where should I report to on the day itself?
Participants are encouraged to report at least 30 minutes before their allocated start times, at Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square.
What will happen if I miss my flag off timing?
Participants will be given a 15-minute grace period from the allocated start timings, thereafter they will not be allowed to participate in the run. This is for better traffic control and other safety reasons.
Is there safety coverage along the run route?
There will be first aiders on stand-by at all the waterpoints. A safety vehicle will also be on stand-by for any emergency activation. Injured participants will be transported back to the start point or to the hospital where applicable.
Where are the refreshments provided for the runners?
There will be water points located along the run route and at the end of the run.
If I cannot make it for the run due to unforeseen circumstances, can someone else run in my place?
No. Registration for the run is non-transferable.
Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate in the run after registration?
No. The registration fee is strictly non-refundable.
Are there medals for Run participants?
FINISHER medals will be given to 10km Competitive Category runners who complete the race.
Can I change my T-shirt size?
Size selection is to be made during registration. Exchange of shirt sizes will not be allowed.
Are there other dates to collect my T-shirt and race pack?
No. Please collect them on the date stated. The Event Organiser may / may not open a booth for T-shirt / race pack collection on the actual run day.
When is the registration period?
The registration period is from 15 May 2018 to 21 August 2018, 12pm. Early Bird registration is till 22 July 2018. Walk-in registration is open from 25-26 August 2018, 11am-9pm at Velocity @ Novena Square.
What are the modes of payment accepted?
For online registrations, payment by Mastercard or Visa is accepted.
How to make an Offline Donation?

Where are the start and end points of the run?
Both the start and end points will be located near the Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square.
Can I participate in another category that I did not sign up for?
No. Participants are to take part in their registered category.
Where can I place my belongings during the run?
A bag deposit service will be provided. It will be located at Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square (Look out for Visitor Centre next to Singapore Sports Museum). It will be opened from 6.30am to 10.30am. One run BIB will be entitled to deposit one bag (maximum size: 40cm X 50cm).
Can I run without my number bib?
No. Runners without their number bibs will not be allowed to participate. Replacement bibs can be bought from the Bag Deposit Area.
What happens if it rains?
The run will continue if it is a drizzle. In the event of bad weather (with lightning risk), the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the run, shorten the run or modify the run course. However, should the bad weather persist, the Event Organiser reserves the right to cancel the run without any refund of the registration fee.
Are there prizes to be won?
Yes. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 10km Competitive runners (Males) and the Top 3 10km Competitive runners (Females).
Can I get a refund if I fall ill on the race day and am unable to participate?
No, there will be strictly NO refund of registration fee in the event that a participant fails to turn up on the run day.
Can I participate in the carnival if I did not sign up for the run?
Yes. The carnival is open to the public and you are welcome to visit the carnival booths.
What will I get for participating in the run?
Each participant will be given the following:
- Limited Edition Event T-Shirt
- Race Bib (Number Tag)
- Sponsored Products
- *Timing Chip (Attached to the back of the race bib)
- *Finisher Medal
*For 10km Competitive Runners Only.
When and where can I collect my T-shirt and race pack?
The event T-shirt and race pack can be collected from 25–26 August 2018 (Sat–Sun), 11.00am-9.00pm. The collection venue will be at Velocity @ Novena Square.
May I authorise someone to collect the T-shirt / race pack on my behalf?
Yes. He/ she will have to present the completed Letter of Authorisation, printed or e-copy of the confirmation email, and his/her original NRIC/FIN/Passport.
